Terms and conditions of sale
1. Seller

2. Scope
These terms apply to purchases of the printed book Reboot · 50 Machines and any related products through our online shop. They are addressed to consumers and businesses; where mandatory consumer law grants you more rights, those rights prevail.
3. Ordering
You can buy as a guest. Before paying you will see the product, its main features (format, binding, pages, language), the total price including VAT, shipping costs and estimated delivery. You can correct your details at any step. Orders are placed in English or Spanish.
4. Contract
The contract is concluded when you press "Pay now" (order with obligation to pay) and we confirm it by email. That email, with these terms and the withdrawal information, is your copy on a durable medium. We keep a record of the contract for the legally required time.
5. Prices
Prices are in euros and include VAT (printed books: 4 % in Spain). Shipping is shown separately before payment. Under Spanish Law 10/2007 on books, the retail price of the book is fixed by the publisher and is the same for every buyer in Spain.
6. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments or the methods shown (cards, PayPal, Bizum, others). We do not see or store your full card details.
7. Delivery
Books are printed on demand and shipped by our print partner. Production and transit times are shown at checkout and on the shipping page; unless stated otherwise we deliver within 30 days. If we cannot deliver we will tell you and refund you without delay. Pre-orders show their expected shipping date.
8. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until paid in full.
9. Right of withdrawal
Consumers may withdraw within 14 days without giving reasons. See the withdrawal policy and form, which includes the button to withdraw online.
10. Legal guarantee
You have the legal guarantee of conformity under the Spanish consumer law (TRLGDCU): 3 years from delivery. If a book arrives damaged or misprinted, write to us with a photo and we will replace or refund it at no cost.
11. Liability
The book and guides are educational and historical, not engineering instructions. Read the safety notice. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, in particular for death or personal injury caused by our fault, for fraud or gross negligence, or under product liability law.
12. Complaints and disputes
Write to direccion@quantumhive.es; we answer within one month. Complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) are available on request. You may also go to the consumer arbitration system or the consumer authorities of your place of residence.
13. Governing law
Spanish law. For consumers, the courts of their place of residence; this does not remove the protection given by the mandatory law of their country of residence in the EU.
14. Safety
Some machines in the book involve pressure, high temperatures, electricity, toxic gases or corrosive chemicals. Building them is at your own risk and must follow local law. See the safety notice.
