What we process and why
- Browsing this site: the hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) processes your IP address and technical request data to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs are kept for a short period. Fonts are served from our own domain; we do not load Google Fonts.
- Orders: name, address, email, phone, order and payment data, to perform the contract, ship the book and handle returns and guarantees (Art. 6(1)(b)), and to issue invoices and keep accounts (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Book reservations (only if you reserve): your email, the edition and number of copies, to tell you when pre-orders open, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). No payment data is collected. Stored with Vercel (EU region, Paris).
- Messages: what you send us by email, to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f)).
- Newsletter (only if you sign up): your email, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time from any email.
Who receives the data
Processors acting on our behalf: Vercel Inc. (hosting), Shopify International Ltd. (shop and checkout), the payment providers you choose, our print-on-demand partner and carriers (only the data needed to print and deliver), and our tax adviser. Some are located in the US; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long
Order and invoice data: 6 years (Commercial Code) and the limitation periods of tax law. Messages: as long as needed to deal with them. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Reservations: until the book ships or you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing by writing to direccion@quantumhive.es. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es). We do not make automated decisions or profiles about you.
